SHAC7
The SHAC7 are 6 activists and a corporation, Stop Huntington Animal Cruelty USA Inc., that have been found guilty of multiple federal felonies for their alleged role in simply campaigning to close down the notorious animal testing lab, Huntingdon Life Sciences. They are not accused of actually smashing windows, liberating animals or even attending demonstrations, rather reporting on and encouraging others to engage in legal demonstrations and supporting the ideology of direct action.

After being found guilty, with defendants facing up to 13 years in prison, they are beginning their appeal. Unfortunately this appeal will be done from prison.

Auburn Three
On January 13, 2006, Eric McDavid, Zachery Jenson and Lauren Weiner were arrested in Auburn, California for allegedly conspiring to damage or destroy certain property by explosive or fire, including the US Forest Service Institue of Forest Genetics and certain other publicly- and privately-owned infrastructure. The case against the three is based almost entirely on the testimony and sureillance of a source employed by the FBI. The source, a young woman in her early 20's, known by the name Anna, has provided athorities with information in a dozen other "anarchist cases." She has recieved approximately $75,000 plus expenses for the last two years of her efforts.

Federal prosecutors in San Diego unsealed an indictment in February 2006, charging environmental and Native American activist Rod Coronado demonstrating how to use an incendiary device.¬İAfter a lecture in 2003, Rodney Coronado 39, of Tucson, Arizona answered a question about how he made an incendiary device used in an action that he had spent four years in federal prison for several years ago. Coronado was charged with distribution of information relating to explosives, destructive devices and weapons of mass destruction. His trial date is not yet set. Coronado is currently in custody, on a federal conviction regarding his attempt to stop a horrific mountain lion hunt by the federal government.

On April 6, California issued its indictments in connection with the 2001 horse corral fire near Susanville, California. Justin Solondz was charged by the federal court in Sacramento, but is not in custody. Also indicted for the corral fire were Darren Thurston,(whose plea on this charge was integrated into his general District of Oregon deal as a result of cooperation, the extent of which is not publicly known at this time), Joseph Dibee and Rebecca Rubin.
