On<br \/>\nSaturday March 1st the CLDC will be hosting a 10th birthday party at<br \/>\nSprout (418 A Street, Springfield). This is the same weekend as the<br \/>\nPublic Interest Environmental Law Conference being held at UO, which<br \/>\nalways brings a great crowd to town.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re are really excited about the fantastic party we are organizing,<br \/>\nbut we need your help to help make it the best it can be. We are<br \/>\nasking for volunteers to help us with a wide range of tasks before,<br \/>\nduring and after the party.<\/p>\n<p>If you can help by doing a 2 hour shift during the party, in addition<br \/>\nto helping with either set up or pack down, picking up \/ dropping off<br \/>\ngear we need for the party, or postering, entry will be free (and we<br \/>\nwill love you endlessly!).<\/p>\n<p>Below are the tasks we need volunteers for. If you can help and would<br \/>\nlike free entry please choose one task from each group. Each shift in<br \/>\nthe second group is 2 hours long:<\/p>\n<p>Postering<br \/>\nAcquisitions pick up &amp; returns (need a car that can haul gear)<br \/>\nSet-up<br \/>\nBreakdown \/ clean up<\/p>\n<p>Front Door<br \/>\nAlcohol Server (also need extra person with OLCC permit)<br \/>\nID checker<br \/>\nFood Prep<br \/>\nFood Service<br \/>\nDishwashing &amp; bussing<\/p>\n<p>We are also currently looking for donations of light food and alcohol.<br \/>\nIf you know of any good leads please let us know.<br \/>\nPlease feel free to pass this email onto anyone you know who might be<br \/>\ninterested in volunteering.<\/p>\n<p>With many thanks,<br \/>\nCLDC<br \/>\nTo get involved: <a href=\"mailto:amber@cldc.org\">amber@cldc.org<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p><\/blockquote>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hi friends, The Civil Liberties Defense Center is turning 10 this year!
