ICE dagvaardde Meta, en verzocht om gegevens met betrekking tot de Facebook- en Instagram-accounts van activisten. Laat op de dag van 1 oktober heeft de U.S. District Court for Northern California een schorsing uitgevaardigd die Meta verbiedt de gevraagde activistengegevens aan ICE bekend te maken, totdat de rechtbank een volledige hoorzitting over constitutionele en andere juridische kwesties kan houden.
