With these victories under our belt, CLDC is preparing to advance climate and human rights necessity defenses more broadly in order to forge a legal reckoning for the corporate and government crimes that threaten all of our futures.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"p1 fusion-responsive-typography-calculated\" style=\"--fontsize: 21.6; line-height: 1.5; --minfontsize: 21.6;\" data-fontsize=\"21.6\" data-lineheight=\"32.4px\"><span class=\"s1\">THE \"CLIMATE NECESSITY\" DEFENSE<\/span><\/h3>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">Although each state's \"necessity defense\" or \"choice of evils defense\" is slightly different and must be reviewed for variations, each has similar elements. only direct action as a means of halting the relentless \"progress\" towards climate catastrophe.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span
