The Civil Liberties Defense Center is representing an antifascist who was charged with disorderly conduct in the second degree in Springfield Municipal Court. This week they pled not guilty to this charge, which stemmed from a May 5, 2019 “flag wave” event hosted by Patriot Prayer on the on the Harlow Road overpass, spanning the cities of Eugene and Springfield. CLDC lawyers will zealously defend this person for free.
The CLDC stands firm in its support of activists targeted by the State for their defense of our communities against dangerous fascists, ultranationalists, misogynists, racists, and Nazis that talk about free speech while using hate speech and physical violence to attack people who oppose them.
